Oh yes, its my burgundy hat again!
Lately I've been really inspired by Elizabeth of Delightfully Tacky's print mixing. Anyone else follow her blog? Isn't she amazing!? She just mixes prints so effortlessly.
So I paired my floral autumn blouse with a new striped cardigan I thrifted.
What's different about this outfit for me is that I didn't wear any jewelry with it! I guess my hat and belt were enough accessories for me anyway.
Wow, what a crazy weekend. I swear, it was one thing after another, and I haven't felt like I've been home these past few days!
For one thing, Friday was my birthday, so my friends took me out to a movie and dinner. I didn't get home till about 1 in the morning. Then yesterday, I had a quick breakfast with my parents so they could spend some time with me and share a few belated birthday gifts. Then I sped into town to help my friend Jesse. See, as Seniors, we're in charge of setting the stage for Homecoming night. Usually the whole class helps, and they have, but me and Jesse like getting things done so we don't have to worry about it. So we met at the school and worked on it. And got it all done! You should see it, it looks amazing. I'm quite proud. I'll share photos of the big night when it comes around. :)
Anyway, after that we went shopping for Spirit Week, got our stuff, then I rushed over to a volleyball get-together where we made team t-shirts for our upcoming tournament! Since we were making them ourselves, I was one of the people assigned with drawing the design since I have a bit of an artistic ability. I wasn't home until 10:30 that night...
So, just thought I'd fill you in on my non-existent weekend...haha.
