This is my mom's old sweater from when she was my size. Isn't it lovely? Its so cozy too! I love the cowl neck drape of it. I was warm (almost uncomfortably so) all day.

Isn't this necklace just divine?
Best part is, I made it!
My dad has a lot of nick knacks from all his travels (he has the best stories...he and my mom were very exciting people before I was born! Haha). One of them is this antique pocket watch. Sadly, this one doesn't have a thrilling story. I believe he found it in my grandpa's attic. So yes. It's very antique.
I first got the idea from Breanne (of flattery) when she wore this with one of her outfits:
Okay, so her's is a lot cuter and romantic looking, but when I tried to look up similar ones online, I was turned off by the price. I mean, I like the statement this necklace makes, but I wasn't going to spend that much for it. What can I say, I'm a girl used to thrift store prices!
Then I remembered a certain pocket watch my dad had showed me before...after that, I simply used a silver chain to loop through it and voila! Instant, genuine, antique pocket watch necklace!
So this outfit really does have a lot of elements from the past. An old pocket watch and my mom's sweater.
Nothing quite beats a blast from the past!
PS: I can't believe I have over 100 followers! Thank you so much! :)
