My dad saw me walk out of my room this morning and said, "Wow, you look like a...a...hippie princess!"
The name stuck, and therefore, the title of this post. I must admit, I always feel extra special when I add this golden headband on top. I must invest in some more for summer!
Its been slowly warming up here, and lately I've been able to wear shorts and skirts without adding tights. How exciting!
I may not have the spring trends that are going on in my closet, but I made do with what I have. Print mixing is still something I like very much, and what more versatile pattern than stripes? I swear, this top goes with so much. Then the fun, geometric pattern on this old dress was made like new as a skirt!
Don't you love remixing old items in your closet so it feels new?
PS: What do you think of the blog's new layout? I shifted over a few things, changed the background, and changed the banner, but I'm not sure if I like it...hmmm...any input? I wanted to make it a warmer version for the spring/summer season!
