Okay, so there's lots of rain, but I was thinking more along the lines of sunshine.
Anyway, the cloudy days have affected my style I think. Normally I use color to inject some interest into my outfit, but I experimented with darker material and ended up loving it! Plus, I finally have tried the whole "collar-underneath-a-sweater-with-a-statement-necklace" look.
Wow, what a mouthful.

This sweater is a thrifted find that I haven't worn in a while ( here's the last time I wore it...wow, long time ago!). I almost feared I'd just broken my Thrifting Rule #1! Haha, if your confused, see the post below. However, since I trimmed its excess length and now understand the whole layering concept better, I'm certain this will be used more now.

Oh, like my nails? Like I said, the dark weather kind of got to me. Haha, but I still added some color at least! I like the idea of one finger being different than the rest. Here's my edgy take on it. Purple zebra print!

Can't get enough of my new boots! They really do resemble Doc Martens, and they add such a cool edge to everything.
