My hair was doing crazy things for today's outfit. Ha, probably because the wind kicked up and liked playing with my hair. Sigh. Ah well. Gotta work with it!

You may not be able to guess or see it that well, but me and Kirsten
visited the local cemetery for these photos. It was very peaceful and
actually provided a nice shooting location. I'm thinking I may head back
there whenever I need some quiet time to myself.

Here are the tribal wedges from Go Jane
again! I just love these crazy shoes. Now to find more excuses to wear
them. They feel a bit too wild for just going grocery shopping.
Hmm...well, I'm sure I'll find opportunities to rock them. They're quite walkable in too despite their towering height. These babies boost me from my usual 5'6" to 5'11"! I feel like a super model in them. Haha, I love how long they make my legs look!
Kirsten raided my closet, and I'm loving what she wore! So much so, I
actually wore the very same outfit minutes after seeing her rock this.
Haha, the vintage floral bag is one of my recently thrifted finds. I'm
thinking its perfect for the summer!
Now that I've taken multiple steps in getting closer to college and my future, I'm thinking more deeply about what I want to go into. As of now, I will be working towards an Associates degree in English, because eventually I want to go into journalism. Along the way, I plan on taking photography courses so that hopefully I can pursue my dream of becoming a traveling photojournalist!
However, I've been nagged by the doubtful thoughts of how successful I could be in that field or if this would help me later in life. Can I really make a career and support myself out of this?
Dad always told me I overthought things...I'm not even in college yet and I'm looking 15 years down the road or so. Haha, I'm sure you'll be reading me bemoan college and its trappings in the near future though.
Anyone else have something that makes them start thinking deeply?

That's such a cute outfit, really reminds me of spring :) As for your question, I am just like you! I am graduating next April & I started considering going abroad to finish my studies, but... I have no idea what to study, where exactly and if I manage to find a job at all. I keep telling myself to stop fretting about the future, but it's easier said than done!

I think you should definitely shoot toward being an English major with photography minor, it'd be smart and super versatile, actually. I know how it feels to not be sure if it'll be able to support you, but if you do what you love, everything always works out. This is coming from someone who is majoring in Art. ;) It took me forever to actually accept the fact that I was going to major in it, haha!

I also think you could totally "cas" these beauties up so that you could wear them to a grocery store. Like wearing denim shorts and an oversized tee and a hobo bag! You would be so cute walking around the grocery store and not look ridiculous like you had to stop there on your way to a party or anything. hahaha
Well I just bought my own condo so that really makes me start thinking about all the things I need and should get and what to put off and all the bills and ugh... this morning I literally laid in bed and was thinking of different things for different lists I needed to make...and then I thought I need to make a list of all the lists I need to make!

I love those shoes!! They pop so much! And I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes cemeteries. I used to live right around the corner from one and I'd go there on weekends and relax. It sounds so weird, but it's peaceful. :) Being probably more than 10 years older than you, I can say with some confidence that you should do what your heart tells you for school. Maybe try photo journalism and if you decide it's not for you, then pursue something else! I probably changed my mind like 3 different times while I was in college. There may be a class you take that just blows your mind and that's okay. Especially while you are so young, don't worry about what job you will have right away. There will be plenty of jobs available to you after your get a Bachelor's. It may not be your dream job, but I didn't find my dream job until I was 27!! Enjoy college and all it has to offer and follow your heart. You'll know where you want to be. :) <3

The best thing to do is start on a path that will get you where you think you want to be (sounds like you're going in the right direction!) & take it one day at a time. If you love it, build on it; if not, try something new when the time comes :)
