Party Rocking

Outfit Details:   Top: (gift) xhilaration   Shorts: c/o OASAP   Tights: Target   Wedges: thrifted
Kirsten gave me this top as a belated birthday gift, saying "It just looked like you."
The girl knows me so well! I absolutely adore it. The print and cut of it is perfect! You'll definitely be seeing more of this cute number in the future.

Okay, so if I ever went to a club or a college party (hey, gonna be a college freshy next year!), this is what I'd wear. I love how the lace shorts feel so unique! They go with my new, tribal tee perfectly.

Bracelet + Earrings: Philippines

Headband: Philippines   Ring: Forever 21
Had to include my usual addition of accessories (what can I say, I love jewelry), and my favorite gold headband. I gotta say, I felt quite fierce.

My tuxedo nails :)

Necklace: garage sale find
These lace shorts from OASAP are so versatile! I've worn them before here, and since then, I've come up with a ton of different options on what I could wear them with. Since school's still going on, I haven't been able to wear them that much (I've mentioned my school's dress code before haven't I? If you don't know what I'm talking about, you can read about it here).

I've been browsing OASAP more, and let me tell you, they have some amazing merchandise! Here are a few of my favorites:

Butterfly Top                                   Wine Red Shorts                        Lace Up Shorts                              Floral Skirt

Double Layer Skirt                                 Multi Color Dress                              Gem Rings                              Long Rings

Mustache Ring                                                 Elegant Necklace                                               Eagle Claw Ring

In case you can't tell, I'm developing quite a crush on their jewelry ;)
You know how I am with my accessories!
Haha, and then with spring/summer on my mind, I'm being drawn to skirts and shorts. Can't wait for warmer weather to hit!

If you have time and are curious, check out OASAP's site, and tell me what your favorite item is. You might be surprised at the deals you can find.

Hope you're all having a beautiful day!

Something Different

Outfit Details:   Tshirt: PacSun   Shorts: thrifted   Tights: Wal Mart   Shoes: Pac Sun

Keyhole, Tape, Camera, and Skull Rings: Claires   Aztec ring: etsy

Earrings: Forever 21

Okay, so I'm not quite sure if I like how these photos turned out...
I felt confident in what I was wearing, but...wow, I wish I had longer legs!

Haha, that's often why I prefer skirts. I think they're more flattering for my short, athletic legs. Ah well, this is what I felt like wearing, and I'm still happy with it.

I love accessories, and with this edgier style, I was able to overload on rings, bracelets, and everything else without overwhelming the outfit. I think I'll have to start accessorizing like this more often. ;)

It was almost warm enough to go without tights, but alas, the winter chill has not released its grip on us yet. But soon! I cannot wait for spring.

Gypsy That I Was

Outfit Details:   Shirt: Vanity   Dress: thrifted   Tights: Target   Boots: (thrifted) Roxy   Headband: Philippines

Ring: Forever 21

Bag: Rue 21

Well, I'm back from our volleyball tournament and wanted to model some new purchases I made while I was in Washington!

So first off, both our volleyball and basketball teams did really well. It was sooo close...but we both made it to semi-finals before barely losing. Ugh. So while it was disappointing, I can look back and view it as bitter sweet. It's been quite a few years since both teams have done that.
Also, the memories made with teammates and friends while we stayed at the hotel definitely made it worth it! It was so much fun :)

Anyway, the ring, bag, and shirt are some scores I found while there. I love how huge the ring is! Perfect addition to my statement jewelry. Then the fringe bag is a huge favorite of mine. My dad was even exclaiming over it and asking my mom to go shopping with me so I could pick out her stuff for her! Haha, so I guess he was impressed.

This outfit demonstrates my favorite way to dress once it gets warmer out. During school, I have a very lady-like style, but once the sun comes out and I can wear whatever I want, it turns more into a bohemian/edgy style. What do you think?

Now that sports is over, I have nothing left to keep me really busy.
So now I'm job-hunting! Wish me luck.

Happy Friday everyone!

Urban Indian

In case you can't tell, I'm really loving my new slave bracelet. That's what these are called apparently. Its so unique and I get compliments on it everytime I wear it!

I thrifted this skirt last summer and this is the first time I've worn it out. I can't believe I let it lie in my closet for that long! The colors in it are beautiful and I love the Navajo theme presented in it.

This is what I wore to run errands in last weekend. It was very refreshing to be wearing a skirt without tights! It was up in the 60's then. Of course, now it's been snowing. Have I told you about Idaho's bipolar weather?

The famous weather quote around here is: "If you don't like the weather, stay a week."

Roses Are White

Outfit Details:   Sweater: vintage   Jeans: Style&Co   Wedges: (gift) Payless

Prince got curious and visited in the middle of a shot. :)

Ring: Philippines

Would you believe I found this sweater for only $1?
It was at my favorite thrift store, the Senior Citizens Center. So this is a genuine, vintage beauty. Haha, I just love the huge, white roses printed on it! And it's so warm and comfy.

I didn't realize until I was putting together an outfit with it that I have the perfect ring to go with it too!

Let's see, today is the first day of games here at the volleyball tournament. I won't be back until Friday, so sorry if I'm absent! I took these photos last weekend for you and have another post set for Wednesday.

Hope its been a bearable Monday ;)

Homecoming Flashes

Last night I went to my Senior Homecoming, and it was the best one yet.

Here are a few pictures from the night I thought I'd share with you.

I ended up being on Royal Court again this year, which is a huge honor, and I really am humbled that my peers think so highly of me to vote me on. And this year, I was even crowned Queen!

I really do love our small, little class! I'm so grateful for the friendships formed and I can already tell you I'll be crying at my graduation.

Oh, and there were waterworks last night as well...over my hair!
Its so flipping stubborn and unmanageable...the hairstyle I was trying to do was this:

Click here for the tutorial link

But, it was impossible to replicate. So, I had to cooperate with my hair and settle for a slight variation.

Ah well. It ended up working quite well.
Now, it's off to the volleyball tournament!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend

Lace and Shadows

Outfit Details:   Shorts: c/o OASAP   Sweater: thrifted   Bracelet: etsy   Necklace: vintage   Boots: Faded Glory

I have to admit, I felt really cool posing for these photos. Perhaps it has something to do with my new lace shorts from OASAP
They're so different from anything I own, and they just so happened to arrive on the day I thrifted this sweater. It's funny, because when I was debating over whether I should get this top, I immediately thought of my lace shorts that were on their way and how good they'd look together. Was I right, or what?

I'm still giddy from receiving my first sponsored piece of clothing! It didn't feel real, even when I placed the order for these, until I got them today.

And I absolutely love them! They're tiered and lacy and perfect for the upcoming spring weather. For now I'll rock them with tights.
They're so versatile! I was hesitant to get these, but I'm glad I went through with it, because they are so much fun. And totally comfortable! Its got an elastic waist, so my muffin top is happy about that. Haha

If you want, you should check out OASAP. They have free, world-wide shipping, which I love! Their prices vary, but you can find great deals. I'm already eying some of their rings.

So today was spent running errands in town. Tomorrow is Homecoming, then next week is the volleyball tournament, and I'm so excited! Its a busy weekend for sure.

I'll be scheduling posts for the upcoming week so it won't seem like I've completely disappeared! Aha, but sorry if I don't reply as quickly as I usually do.

Thanks for all your support! I love reading each and every comment. :)
