Distractions Make For Good Stories

In case it wasn't obvious enough, I have a fetish for all things studded or spiked. Thus, these studded combat boots are now my favorite pair of shoes. Ever. They've got cool side zips that not only add to their style, but also make it incredibly easy to slip on and off. I stomped through slushy snow and mud while walking around campus in these, and they're the perfect, most functional pair of shoes I own - all while looking incredible! 

Okay, enough gushing of the shoes. I must refrain. But yeah, if you're looking for cool boots, consider these.  

"Wait...where are we going?" 

I halted in the middle of our walk, belatedly realizing we were going in the opposite direction of where I needed to be.

"I don't know, I was just following you."

"Oh, well I need to head to the gym, so..."

"Oh cool, I needed to go to the Taylor building anyway, and that's on the way. I'll walk you to your class."

With that, we made a U-turn and continued on our way.

Yes, that would be a conversation between CG and I. From here on out, I am dubbing him CG (for Cute Guy) since I can't think of anything else. Haha, so far we're in the cutesy stage of getting to know each other, and its that fun, butterfly-filled part. You know, being eager to get to class just to see him again, all while feeling slightly nervous because you wonder how things will go. Walking into class to find he's situated himself in the desk that's right next to yours. Getting that tingly sensation when you catch him glancing at you and smiling.

I must say, for a distraction, he's a really good one.
Still, in the back of my mind, there's doubt. I'm worried about whether I'm being smart or not. I want to be cautious. He's not as clean cut as the guys I've gone for in the past, and that may be part of the appeal.
For now, I'm comfortable with this. 

But we all know how that story goes, don't we?
