This is probably one of my favorite casual outfits to date. Some riding boots, a beanie, and an oversized sweater, and I'm good for the day. Plus, a mix of tribal print and some burgundy never hurt anything.
Oh, and just so I can brag on him, my dad took all these photos. He used to have a fancy camera back in the day, so he understood terms like aperture and ISO. Didn't they turn out fantastic? I saw the fog rolling in outside and immediately grabbed whoever was handiest. Haha, he had a few questions on how the camera operated, but after some helpful hints, he caught on quickly.
You know, it probably says something about the place you work if you get a hug from one of the customer's for coming back. It was a sweet old man that I had gotten to know from his regular visits. That's something about the regulars at our restaurant - you get to know them on a personal level. It made my day to know I was that appreciated. Nothing like getting hugs from someone to brighten your day.
Oh, and speaking of brightening days...there's nothing like catching someone give you a lopsided grin. Just saying. Hugs and smiles, girls - that's what makes the world a better place! :)

AH linda your pictures are so pretty! You look like a cute little farmgirl. This would be a perfect tooth fairy sidekick outfit (oh you bet I'm still thinking about becoming the tooth fairy). The color of your sweater is so cute, and it looks so waaaarm. Yay for your dad taking awesome pictures!
That's really cute about the old man, oh goodness! I go to a deli every Sunday night and the workers there all know me pretty well and talk to me (I always order the same thing...) and it's just so nice that people take time to talk to you. :) Aw Linda!
Also, quick tip on ISO and aperature, maybe it will help? haha it took me a while to learn this stuff, too, so maybe Ali terms might help you... not that I'm trying to be a showoff or anything :P
ISO--if it's really sunny, use ISO 100; if it's cloudy, stick to 100-200; if it's super dark, you'll need an iso that might be up to 800 or more.
Darker outside = higher ISO = granier, may be blurrier without a tripod!
Lighter outside = lower ISO = less grainy, more sharp!
Aperture-- if you want a blurry background use the smallest aperature opening (like 2.8, or 5.6 on a standard lens), the shutter speed will take it faster
If you want a sharp background, use a bigger aperature (up to f/22) but you'll need a tripod because it will take slower
